Delete your MendezSpeak account

You can delete your account and associated data from the app. If you no longer have the app, request deletion here without reinstalling it.

Delete in the app

  1. Sign in to MendezSpeak.
  2. Open My account.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Read the retention notice and confirm Yes, delete account.

Your access is disabled immediately and the app signs out.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from an address or verified channel associated with your account. Include your full international phone number, country, and the words “Delete my MendezSpeak account.” Do not send passwords, OTP codes, payment-card details, or identity documents unless our privacy team requests a specific secure verification step.

Address: info@mendezspeak.com. We will verify account ownership and confirm the request. The verification process is used only to prevent unauthorized deletion.

What deletion does

  • Revokes active sessions, device notification tokens, calling routes, and account access immediately.
  • Deletes or anonymizes profile information, selected contacts, preferences, and message content.
  • Places stored call recordings in active storage in a secure deletion process completed within 30 days.
  • Prevents automatic reactivation. A later registration is treated as a new request and may require security review.

Information retained for limited reasons

We retain only what is necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, and law. This may include a non-reversible HMAC identity marker for up to 24 months; minimal abuse, complaint, and chargeback evidence; and billing, tax, carrier, and transaction records for the legally required period, commonly up to seven years. A valid legal hold may extend retention until the hold ends.

The retained fraud marker is separated from the deleted profile, access-restricted, not used for advertising, and removed when its retention period expires. See our Privacy Policy for details.
